Takamine GN37CE PW Acoustic/Electric Guitar – Pearl White Finish with Solid Spruce Top & TP-3G Electronics
Overview
The Takamine GN37CE PW offers Takamine’s distinctive Pearl White finish in the popular, great-sounding NEX cutaway shape. It features a solid spruce top and maple back and sides for a smooth and glossy sounding guitar that fits great on stages anywhere, with any genre of music. The GN37CE is easy to amplify when needed, as it comes with Takamine's legendary TP-3G electronics, and it includes a GBWX gig bag for protection and portability.
The NEX Body Shape – Compact Size, Jumbo Voice
The NEX body style is a scaled-down version of the jumbo dreadnought that sacrifices neither playability nor comfort. Its slimmer waist makes it very comfortable to play while seated, and it has the classic vibe of a jumbo shape. Tonally, the NEX shape provides a strong strumming sound without much physical effort, with a contemporary character that supports vocals well, making it a great guitar in a band setting or for solo singer-songwriters.
Solid Spruce Top with Maple Back and Sides
The solid spruce top delivers full-body projection and dynamic response, while the maple back and sides add brightness and clarity. Together, they produce a clear, distinct tone with impressive sustain—ideal for fingerpicking techniques and a silky accompaniment to vocal performances. The rosewood fingerboard provides sonic balance and a smooth, comfortable playing feel.
Takamine TP-3G Preamp System – Legendary Takamine Electronics
The onboard Takamine TP-3G preamp system is inspired by Takamine’s famous 3-slider “Brownie” preamp and voiced in a similar warm, natural fashion. It features a 3-band EQ and a precise chromatic tuner with LED display, making live performances a breeze. With straightforward EQ controls that practically dial themselves in, powered by a single 9-volt battery, this system delivers rock-solid amplified performance and versatility. Whether you’re performing live, recording in the studio, or writing songs at home, the TP-3G ensures excellent amplified tone for any setting.
