Massive Ceramic Power
At the heart of the Distortion lies a massive ceramic bar magnet paired with hot symmetrical coil windings. This potent combination delivers tremendous power and raw distorted rock sounds, producing tight, mean low strings while the high strings scream with wild harmonics. The result is a well-balanced tone with rich upper-midrange harmonic content that provides extra cut and grind—perfect for hard-hitting, crunchy rhythms and blazing lead work.
Clarity Under High Gain
Despite its enormous output, the Distortion retains exceptional clarity even under extreme gain. Riffs remain tight and percussive, while lead work feels fast and immediate with ultra-clear pick dynamics. It also remains tight with low tunings, making it the go-to choice for drop-tuned metal, nu-metal, thrash, punk, gothic, and old-school rock.

Hand-built in Seymour Duncan's Santa Barbara, California factory, the Distortion features a nickel-silver bottom plate for reduced eddy currents and a 4-conductor lead wire for multiple wiring options—series, parallel, and split coil. Vacuum wax potting ensures squeal-free performance even at punishing gain levels.

Refund/returning items
We do not accept order changes after the confirmation and payment of your order. After your product is delivered, Refunds are only possible if it is caused by our error (damaged/defective product, or incorrect item, etc.).
