The beauty of the Distortion+ lies in its simplicity. With just two controls—Output and Distortion—you can dial in a remarkable range of tones:

Low Distortion, High Output: Crank the Output knob and keep the Distortion low to drive the front end of your amp for sweet, dynamic blues tones with just the right amount of grit.

High Distortion: Max out the Distortion knob for that classic early '80s hard rock tone—thick, saturated, and endlessly sustaining.
Its amp-like response makes it a favorite for players who want a pedal that reacts to their playing dynamics and cleans up beautifully when you roll back your guitar's volume.
Built to Last, Built for the Road
Like all MXR pedals, the Distortion+ is housed in a rugged metal chassis with top-quality components. It features True Hardwire Bypass to preserve your signal when disengaged, and it runs on a standard 9V battery or an optional Dunlop ECB003 9V adapter, DC Brick™, or Iso-Brick™ power supply.

Refund/returning items
We do not accept order changes after the confirmation and payment of your order. After your product is delivered, Refunds are only possible if it is caused by our error (damaged/defective product, or incorrect item, etc.). If the refund/return is approved, we shall provide you with an address for you to post the items you wish to return to. Please have the items in proper packaging and mail it back to the address we provide strictly within 2 days from receiving your items. The length of time your Refund in transit is beyond our control, your bank or credit card company may require additional period of time to process your refund and for the refund to be reflected in your account.
