Journey Instruments Travel Acoustic Guitar Carbon Fiber Collapsible Neck OF660M Matte Burgundy (Preorder)

Journey Instruments OF660M Overhead Carbon Fiber Travel Guitar – Burgundy Matte

Overview

The Journey Instruments OF660M in a striking Burgundy Matte finish is the ultimate travel guitar for musicians who refuse to compromise on tone or portability. Featuring a patented collapsible neck system, this all-carbon-fiber instrument assembles in seconds and packs down to a carry-on size of just 22 x 14 x 9 inches, fitting easily into most airplane overhead bins. Despite its compact body, the innovative Wedge™ design and offset soundhole deliver a clear, resonant tone with surprising volume and projection that rivals full-sized guitars. Whether you're a touring professional, a frequent flyer, or a backpacking songwriter, the OF660M ensures you never have to leave your music behind.

Why Choose the Journey OF660M?

• Designed for Travel: The patented detachable neck system allows for assembly and disassembly in a matter of seconds. The included TSA-compliant travel backpack features a fold-out laptop/tablet panel for easy airport security scanning, so you can carry it on to most major airlines.

• Full Tone in a Travel Body: The Wedge™ design gives the guitar a lower shoulder/bout depth that's deeper than a dreadnought, allowing the smaller body to deliver great volume and booming bass. A bone nut, compensated bone saddle, and ebony bridge pins help produce the rich tone preferred by acoustic guitarists.

• Comfortable to Play: The Wedge design angles the guitar comfortably into your body, while the low-C profile neck with a 24.5-inch scale makes it eminently playable. The Scoop-away™ cutaway gives full access to all 20 frets while maximizing the instrument's inner air volume for maximum acoustical volume.

• Stage-Ready Electronics: The included JourneyTek™ under-bridge passive 3-piezo transducer pickup system accurately amplifies the guitar, delivering warm and natural acoustic tones for any PA system or amp.

• All-Carbon Fiber Construction: The top, back, sides, neck, and fingerboard are all constructed from carbon fiber, creating an instrument that is incredibly durable and resistant to cracking and warping from temperature or humidity changes.
