Jim Dunlop Guitar Pick Nylon Standard 1.00mm Made In USA

Jim Dunlop Nylon Standard Pick 1.0mm – The Original Nylon Pick, Heavy Gauge, Warm Tone, Made in the USA

The Pick That Started It All. Trusted by Legends. The Go-To Gauge for Players Who Demand Power and Control.

Dunlop Nylon Standard Picks provide the warmth, flexibility, and resilience harnessed by numerous guitar legends to record some of rock 'n' roll's most iconic hits. Our first ever pick offering, Nylon Standard Picks provide warmth, flexibility, and durability. We start with high-quality Nylon for its timeless sonic character and the perfect amount of give. Then, we use precision-molding to impart a rounded edge for a release that's nice and smooth. The standard pick shape offers a familiar feel in the hand, while a raised logo gripping surface makes the Nylon Standard Pick a cinch to control when digging in.

The 1.0mm Gauge – Heavy Gauge for Power, Precision, and Control

The 1.0mm Nylon Standard Pick is identified by its iconic blue color and is the go-to choice for players who demand maximum stiffness, control, and volume. This heavy gauge offers virtually no flex, making it ideal for aggressive rhythm playing, heavy riffing, and precise lead work where every note needs to cut through with authority. The 1.0mm gauge is perfect for:

• Heavy Rock and Metal: The stiffness provides solid attack and chunky chord definition for high-gain styles.

• Bass Guitar: Many bassists prefer the 1.0mm for its powerful attack and minimal flex, especially for pick-style playing.

• Aggressive Strumming: Ideal for players who hit hard and need a pick that can keep up without bending or breaking.

• Precise Lead Playing: Enough rigidity for fast, articulate single-note lines and solos, with zero pick flex to get in the way.

The Original Nylon Pick – A Revolution in Pick-Making

With our Nylon Pick line, we rewrote the book on pick-making and gave players more options and more confidence when choosing their picks. We created seven gauges instead of the limited and vaguely defined Light, Medium, and Heavy popular at the time. Labeled by thickness from .38mm to 1.25mm, this gave players twice as many gauges and the confidence that they knew what they were getting. Today, Dunlop Nylon Picks come in a variety of forms to accommodate every style and skill level.

Raised Logo Gripping Surface – Secure Control

The raised logo gripping surface makes the Nylon Standard Pick a cinch to control when digging in. Even during aggressive playing, the textured surface provides enough grip to keep you in command of your pick.
