Traditional Post-Finishing Method
This guitar is built using Headway’s traditional post-finishing process, a technique practiced since the company’s founding. In this method, the neck and body are painted separately and then joined, demanding extremely high precision. Although it requires more time and cost than standard finishing, it produces a cleaner joint, a smoother transition, and a more refined final instrument.
During final assembly, the frets are hammered into the fingerboard after the neck and body are joined. This reduces height variation across the frets, ensuring stable, reliable playability.
Quality-Controlled in Japan
Every Headway Essential Edition guitar is inspected and set up in Matsumoto, Nagano Prefecture by Divider’s dedicated QC team before being shipped. Each instrument is adjusted carefully so players can enjoy great tone and comfort from the very first moment they pick it up.

Refund/returning items
We do not accept order changes after the confirmation and payment of your order. After your product is delivered, Refunds are only possible if it is caused by our error (damaged/defective product, or incorrect item, etc.). To help us ascertain if your refund request is possible, please provide us with specific reasons for your refund request (reasons supported with photos where possible) via email to: enquiry@davisguitar.com – Please include your address too.
If the refund/return is approved, we shall provide you with an address for you to post the items you wish to return to. Please have the items in proper packaging and mail it back to the address we provide strictly within 2 days from receiving your items. The length of time your Refund in transit is beyond our control, your bank or credit card company may require additional period of time to process your refund and for the refund to be reflected in your account.
