Tonal Philosophy – Viscous Clean-to-Crunch

The String Slinger offers a LOT of headroom and volume. With the drive at zero, it provides a cleanish boost that tightens the low end and brings mids forward—ideal for pushing your amp into natural overdrive. Turn up the Drive and you get thick, harmonically rich overdrive with long sustain and brilliant overtones, yet note definition remains excellent even at maximum settings. It cleans up beautifully with your guitar's volume and responds to every nuance of your playing, making it perfect for players who rely on volume control for tonal variations. Tonally, the overdrive is thick-sounding, very harmonic, and touch-sensitive.
