CT System TYPE-3
The CT system, a signature feature of the SNAPPER series, utilizes the newly developed TYPE-3, redesigned specifically for use with GOTOH MG-T pickups. It achieves beautifully even string tension and provides a tight yet delicate touch response.
GOTOH 510T-FE1 Tremolo & ESP Custom Lab Pickups
The bridge features the 510T-FE1, a two-point anchor nut type tremolo unit from GOTOH's 510T series, a leading Japanese hardware manufacturer. This allows for smooth arming with its knife-edge design, fully unleashing the player's expressive capabilities. Furthermore, the combination with ESP tremolo tone springs delivers a clear sound.
The pickups are a combination of the ESP Custom Lab's SS-100+ single-coil and LH-200+ humbucker, updated to match modern sounds and based on ESP's long-selling models that have been favored by numerous guitarists since their introduction. This configuration offers a rich tonal balance and power, making it suitable for a wide range of genres.
T-5 Ultimate Access
The neck and body joint uses the same T-5 Ultimate Access system as the ESP SNAPPER. It features a larger contact area and five screws for secure neck attachment.
control
The master tone control uses a switchable potentiometer. Pressing the knob raises it, ensuring that the neck pickup is always outputting, regardless of the lever switch position. This allows for a mixed sound of the bridge and neck positions, which is normally impossible.
The mini-switch is a coil-split switch for the bridge pickup. By flipping the switch lever towards the bridge side, you can output only the neck-side coil of the humbucker, creating a sound similar to a guitar with three single-coil pickups.
High-pass filter
A high-pass filter is included as standard, which preserves the high frequencies even when the volume is turned down. Because it uses a relatively large capacitor (471pF), the sound remains natural and user-friendly even when the volume is turned down.
