The Electro-Harmonix Nano Battalion is a bass preamp and overdrive pedal that packs a formidable arsenal of bass tones into a pedalboard-friendly, single-wide stompbox. Featuring all-analog circuitry with a versatile MOSFET drive circuit, the Nano Battalion delivers everything from subtle, light overdrive to fully saturated distortion.

The powerful three-band EQ includes Treble (boost/cut above 1kHz) and Bass (boost/cut below 200Hz) shelving controls, plus a three-way Mid switch that provides a 9dB boost or cut at 500Hz. Three signal flow modes determine where the EQ is applied—Distortion Mode (EQ after distortion, affecting distorted signal only), Input Mode (EQ first, affecting both clean and distorted signals for driving the distortion harder), and Dry Mode (EQ affects clean signal only). The BLEND knob lets you mix your clean and distorted signals to perfection.

The ¼" output delivers an unbalanced signal with a TS cable, or a balanced signal with a TRS cable for direct connection to a mixing console or recording interface. Housed in a rugged chassis with buffered bypass and including a 9.6VDC-200mA power adapter, the Nano Battalion is ready for the studio, the stage, or the road.
