The Electro-Harmonix Nano Bass Big Muff Pi 2 resurrects a long-lost dual op-amp fuzz circuit from the 1970s—a design that never made it to production until now. Rediscovered as a hand-drawn schematic among the notes of Big Muff co-creator Bob Myer and brought to life in collaboration with Josh Scott of JHS Pedals, this pedal delivers a unique fuzz tone that stands apart from its Big Muff siblings.

Optimized specifically for bass players, the Nano Bass Big Muff Pi 2 delivers the signature midrange grind, flexible EQ, and virtually endless sustain expected from any Big Muff. The Bass version adds a BLEND knob and BASS BOOST switch to the classic VOL, SUSTAIN, and TONE control set. The BLEND knob lets you mix your dry, unprocessed bass signal with the fuzz, ensuring you never lose clarity or foundational low-end. Flip the BASS BOOST switch to add even more low-end heft, especially effective when running the TONE knob at higher, more trebly settings.

The Nano Bass Big Muff Pi 2 features a true bypass footswitch with Latching/Momentary Action. Click for normal latching on/off functionality, or press and hold for a momentary burst of fuzz mayhem. Housed in a rugged, compact nano enclosure with a 9V battery included, this pedal is ready to deliver thick, powerful fuzz while keeping your low-end presence intact.
