The streamlined interface makes looping simple. The programmable FADEOUT mode applies an automatic volume fade when playback is stopped, creating smooth, natural-sounding loop endings. A LEVEL knob adjusts the loop's output volume, while the rotary LOOP control selects between 10 memory banks—and pushing it enters the Fadeout menu.

Built with stereo inputs and outputs, the 720 can process stereo effects or even record two instruments simultaneously. An external foot controller input allows connection of a 3-button switch for remote bank up/down and instant undo/redo functionality. Housed in a rugged die-cast chassis with silent footswitches, and including a 9.6VDC power supply, the EHX 720 is ready for the studio, the stage, or the road.
