DR Strings DBSM-45 Dragon Skin+ Multiscale Bass Strings – 45-105 Tapered 4-String Set

Sound Huge. Play Easy. Endure Everything. The Next Generation of Bass String Technology.

DR Strings Dragon Skin+ multiscale bass strings sound huge, are easy to play, and have outstanding endurance. Dragon Skin+ upgrades both the core and the wrap wires to be exceptionally musical, balanced, and loud. Accurate Core Technology™ creates grooves on the core to cradle the wrap wire, allowing the strings to ring out to their full potential. Designed to feel and sound better, Dragon Skin+ is unlike anything out there. The difference is real.

Accurate Core Technology™ – The Secret to Dragon Skin+'s Massive Tone

At the heart of Dragon Skin+ is DR's proprietary Accurate Core Technology™. This innovative process creates grooves on the core wire that cradle the wrap wire, ensuring a perfect fit and allowing the strings to ring out to their full potential. The result is a string with exceptional musicality, balance, and volume—a tone that is huge, articulate, and full of life. Whether you're playing deep grooves, melodic lines, or aggressive slap passages, Dragon Skin+ delivers.

Upgraded Core and Wrap Wires – Exceptionally Musical and Loud

Dragon Skin+ upgrades both the core and the wrap wires to be exceptionally musical, balanced, and loud. This isn't just a minor tweak—it's a complete rethinking of what a bass string can be. The upgraded materials and construction deliver a tone that is rich, powerful, and incredibly responsive, with outstanding endurance that keeps you playing longer between string changes.

Multiscale Design – Tapered for Optimal Performance

Dragon Skin+ multiscale strings are tapered on the B, E, and A strings and optimized for B strings up to 37" scale. This tapered design ensures optimal performance on multi-scale basses, providing consistent tension, tone, and playability across the entire fretboard. Whether you're playing a fan-fret instrument or a traditional multiscale bass, Dragon Skin+ strings are engineered to fit and perform perfectly.

Easy to Play, Outstanding Endurance

Dragon Skin+ strings are designed to feel and sound better. They are easy to play, with a smooth, comfortable feel that reduces fatigue during long sessions. And thanks to their outstanding endurance, they maintain their tone and feel far longer than standard bass strings, saving you money on replacements and ensuring consistent performance gig after gig.
