Bacchus WJB-Mini/R SB 29.5" Mini 4-String Bass Guitar – Compact Scale | JB-Style Pickups, Vintage Fixed Bridge & Classic Sunburst Finish

Compact Size. Full-Sized Tone. Perfect for Players on the Go.

The Bacchus WJB-Mini/R SB is a 4-string mini bass that delivers incredible playability and classic JB-style tone in a compact, travel-friendly package. With a 29.5-inch short scale, this bass is perfect for beginners, younger players, traveling musicians, or anyone who wants a comfortable, easy-to-play instrument without sacrificing tone. The classic Sunburst finish and familiar JB-style pickups make this mini bass a versatile addition to any collection.

Compact 29.5" Scale – Effortless Playability

The WJB-Mini/R SB features a 750mm (29.5-inch) scale length, making it significantly more compact than a standard 34-inch bass. This shorter scale reduces string tension and fret spacing, making it easier to play for beginners, younger players, or anyone with smaller hands. It's also ideal for traveling musicians who need a portable instrument that doesn't compromise on tone. Whether you're practicing at home, jamming with friends, or performing on stage, this mini bass delivers comfort and playability in spades.

Classic JB-Style Pickups with Versatile Controls

Equipped with an original JB pickup set, this bass delivers the classic Jazz Bass tone that has powered countless recordings. The dual single-coil pickups provide articulate, punchy lows and biting, mid-forward presence. The control layout—2 volumes and 1 tone—gives you complete command over your sound, allowing you to blend the pickups for anything from deep, thumping lows to bright, cutting punch. This is the familiar, intuitive control set that bassists love.

Vintage Fixed Bridge & Open Gear Tuners

The vintage fixed-type bridge provides solid resonance transfer and reliable intonation, while open gear machine heads offer smooth, accurate tuning with a classic look. An ABS nut ensures optimal tone transfer and tuning stability. Together, these components ensure your bass stays in tune and performs reliably night after night.

Comfortable Playability and Classic Looks

The hardwood body provides a balanced, resonant foundation, while the maple neck and rosewood fingerboard offer a smooth, familiar feel. The polyurethane or polyester finish protects the instrument while showcasing the classic Sunburst aesthetic. With a 38.0mm nut width, this bass offers comfortable spacing for fingerstyle and pick playing.
