Jim Dunlop Guitar Pick PrimeGrip Delrin 500 0.71mm Made In USA

Jim Dunlop PrimeGrip Delrin 500 Pick 0.71mm – Fat Tone, Slick Release, and Superior Grip

Overview

The Jim Dunlop PrimeGrip Delrin 500 Pick combines the classic warm, organic tone and slick release of the original Delrin 500 with a revolutionary low-profile gripping surface for better handling than ever before. Designed specifically to take a beating from heavy-duty playing, Delrin resists wear, has a super smooth surface, and produces a fat, warm tone without any pick clack—just like plucking the strings with your fingers. It’s rigid but not inflexible, giving as much as you need and then snapping right back into place. The 0.71mm gauge is a versatile medium-light thickness that balances flexibility with control—perfect for everything from delicate strumming to articulate lead lines. Whether you’re playing acoustic or electric, this pick gives you the classic Delrin tone with improved control.

Why Choose the Jim Dunlop PrimeGrip Delrin 500 Pick 0.71mm?

• PrimeGrip Surface for Better Handling: Inspired by the cutting-edge techniques used to create Dunlop’s Primetone Picks, the low-profile gripping surface is just the right height and covers just the right amount of area to keep the pick securely in your hand—without getting in your way.

• Warm, Organic Tone: Delrin produces a rich, natural sound with minimal pick clack, letting the true voice of your instrument shine through.

• Slick, Fast Release: The super smooth surface ensures instantaneous release, allowing for fast, articulate playing with minimal resistance.

• Excellent Memory: Delrin retains its shape and flexibility, snapping back into place after every strum for consistent feel and performance.

• Rigid but Not Inflexible: Offers the perfect balance of stiffness and give—firm enough for control, flexible enough for expressive dynamics.

• Versatile 0.71mm Gauge: A medium-light thickness that provides more body and control than thinner picks while retaining excellent flexibility. Ideal for a wide range of styles, from acoustic strumming to electric lead work.

• Superior Durability: Delrin resists wear, making it ideal for heavy-duty playing and ensuring long-lasting performance.

• Made in the USA: Crafted with pride in the United States for consistent quality and performance.
