The Japan Tune-up Series introduces its first model made from Sakura (Japanese cherry wood), previously reserved for higher-end guitars. This model offers the distinctive sound of Sakura wood, with a design reflecting years of cherry blossom guitar production.
Key features include:
- “JS” in the model name, indicating the use of Japanese cherry wood.
- Back and sides made of laminated Japanese Sakura wood.
- A unique see-through gradient finish that highlights the wood’s grain.
- Seasonal variations, such as “Winter Cherry Blossoms” and “Summer Cherry Blossoms,” offering customization options for players.
- Cherry blossom motifs on the headstock and fretboard, crafted from natural mother-of-pearl shell for visual appeal.
- Fretboard made of durable high-density micarta, resembling ebony.

Refund/returning items
We do not accept order changes after the confirmation and payment of your order. After your product is delivered, Refunds are only possible if it is caused by our error (damaged/defective product, or incorrect item, etc.). To help us ascertain if your refund request is possible, please provide us with specific reasons for your refund request (reasons supported with photos where possible) via email to: enquiry@davisguitar.com – Please include your address too.
If the refund/return is approved, we shall provide you with an address for you to post the items you wish to return to. Please have the items in proper packaging and mail it back to the address we provide strictly within 2 days from receiving your items. The length of time your Refund in transit is beyond our control, your bank or credit card company may require additional period of time to process your refund and for the refund to be reflected in your account.
