Jim Dunlop Guitar Pick Nylon Standard 0.88mm Made In USA

Jim Dunlop Nylon Standard Pick 0.88mm – The Original Nylon Pick, Warm Tone, Stiffer Gauge for Lead and Rock, Made in the USA

The Pick That Started It All. Trusted by Legends. The Perfect Step Up for Players Who Want More Stiffness Without Going Heavy.

Dunlop Nylon Standard Picks provide the warmth, flexibility, and resilience harnessed by numerous guitar legends to record some of rock 'n' roll's most iconic hits. Our first ever pick offering, Nylon Standard Picks provide warmth, flexibility, and durability. We start with high-quality Nylon for its timeless sonic character and the perfect amount of give. Then, we use precision-molding to impart a rounded edge for a release that's nice and smooth. The standard pick shape offers a familiar feel in the hand, while a raised logo gripping surface makes the Nylon Standard Pick a cinch to control when digging in.

The 0.88mm Gauge – Stiffer Feel for Rock, Lead, and Aggressive Styles

The 0.88mm Nylon Standard Pick is identified by its iconic green color and offers a stiffer feel than the lighter gauges while retaining just enough flexibility for expressive playing. This medium-heavy pick is ideal for players who demand more power and control without going to an extra-heavy gauge. The 0.88mm gauge is perfect for:

• Rock and Blues Lead: The added stiffness provides solid attack and articulate single-note lines.

• Rhythm Playing: Enough flex for chord work but with more power and projection.

• Aggressive Strumming: Ideal for players who hit hard and need a pick that can keep up.

• Versatile Playing: Works equally well for electric and acoustic, strumming and picking.

The Original Nylon Pick – A Revolution in Pick-Making

With our Nylon Pick line, we rewrote the book on pick-making and gave players more options and more confidence when choosing their picks. We created seven gauges instead of the limited and vaguely defined Light, Medium, and Heavy popular at the time. Labeled by thickness from .38mm to 1.25mm, this gave players twice as many gauges and the confidence that they knew what they were getting. Today, Dunlop Nylon Picks come in a variety of forms to accommodate every style and skill level.

Raised Logo Gripping Surface – Secure Control

The raised logo gripping surface makes the Nylon Standard Pick a cinch to control when digging in. Even during aggressive playing, the textured surface provides enough grip to keep you in command of your pick.
