The Darkglass Alpha Omicron is a compact, affordable pedal for bassists, featuring premium analog signal and dual distortion modes from the Alpha Omega. It excels in clank and djent sounds, with a Blend control for distortion variations. Players can mix two distortion flavors and adjust thickness and presence using Growl and Bite controls, enhancing their bass tone. All Darkglass pedals are handmade in Finland with high-quality components.
The Alpha Omicron utilizes the dual-distortion engine from the Alpha Omega to offer an extensive range of bass tones. When the Mod control is turned fully counterclockwise, the Alpha distortion delivers a punchier, tighter fuzz, making it ideal for rock and progressive genres. The Omega provides a spankier, gnarlier effect that's perfect for soloing and contemporary metal styles.
Pedals main controls are:
- Blend: Mixes the clean and processed signals. The clean signal remains at unity gain while the volume of the overdriven signal is set by the Level knob, allowing for fine mix tuning.
- Level: Sets the volume of the overdriven signal.
- Drive: Sets the amount of gain in the overdriven signal.
- Mod: Selects or mixes between the two distinct distortion circuits: Alpha is punchy, tight with a lot of definition, whereas Omega is simply brutal and raw.
- Bite Switch: Boosts High Mids (2.8kHz) for additional presence and definition.
- Growl Switch: Shelving Bass Boost for a fatter tone and increased low end saturation.

Refund/returning items
We do not accept order changes after the confirmation and payment of your order. After your product is delivered, Refunds are only possible if it is caused by our error (damaged/defective product, or incorrect item, etc.). To help us ascertain if your refund request is possible, please provide us with specific reasons for your refund request (reasons supported with photos where possible) via email to: enquiry@davisguitar.com – Please include your address too.
If the refund/return is approved, we shall provide you with an address for you to post the items you wish to return to. Please have the items in proper packaging and mail it back to the address we provide strictly within 2 days from receiving your items. The length of time your Refund in transit is beyond our control, your bank or credit card company may require additional period of time to process your refund and for the refund to be reflected in your account.
