Strat 6 way switch
We all know that most Strat’s use a 5 way switch these days (unless you are a purist who likes to stick to the original 3 way). This switch goes the other way and offers an additional 6th position so now you can have all of your regular Strat pickup selections plus an additional 6th which can be used to engage bridge and neck pickups on together for a Tele-esque tone not normally achievable on a Strat without having to install an additional mini toggle or push/pull pot. Please be aware that this switch only allows the tone controls to affect the neck and middle pickups (like a traditional vintage Strat) and cannot be wired for a tone control to affect the bridge pickup (like a modern Strat set up normally has).
PLEASE NOTE: While this switch uses the same mounting hole locations as a standard 5 way switch used on a USA Fender Stratocaster, the switch slot will need to be lengthened equally on either end in order for the longer throw of the switch to engage the outer positions.
Made in the U.S.A. by Oak. This replacement Strat 6 way switch comes complete with two dome-head nickel mounting screws. Switch tip not included.
