Description
The DSF48C Santa Fe NEX is a meticulously handcrafted instrument from Japan, a country renowned for its precision quality craftsmanship over the past five decades. Featuring a solid spruce top paired with a solid rosewood back, this guitar offers remarkable projection, power, and an extensive dynamic range.
Embodying a Southwest Native American theme, it showcases a black crow rosette, eagle inlays on the fingerboard, a glossy natural finish, and elegant gold tuners with amber pearl accents. The body and fretboard are fully bound, and the mahogany neck is attached to the body using a traditional, exceptionally strong dovetail joint.
Designed with performers in mind, this guitar incorporates Takamine’s proprietary CT4-DX™ preamp system, which is complemented by a unique combination of the Palathetic® under-saddle pickup and Takamine’s original soundboard transducer for unmatched amplified response. The CT4-DX allows independent control over both pickups, each equipped with two-band EQ and a notch filter control. Additionally, you can adjust the mix levels of each pickup, along with an onboard chromatic tuner.
