Description
It has been ten years since Singular Sound launched its flagship product, the BeatBuddy drum machine pedal.
To celebrate this decade-long journey, we will take an in-depth look at our drum machine: its features, the evolution it has undergone, and its future prospects.
What is the BeatBuddy Drum Machine?
In 2013, founder David Packouz encountered challenges in locating dependable drummers while pursuing his musical ambitions. To address this issue, he developed the BeatBuddy, a drum machine designed to replicate authentic drumming across multiple genres. As a guitarist and vocalist, he found it difficult to manage a drum machine during live performances, which led to years of research aimed at creating a customizable drum machine in the form of a guitar pedal. Since then, Singular Sound has improved the BeatBuddy with various updates and enhancements, establishing it as an indispensable tool for songwriters, performers, and studio recordings.
