The Quarter Pound Jazz Bass pickups offer a complete package: high output, excellent attack, and a bold attitude. With 1/4” diameter poles and tightly wound coils, they provide a rich, uniform response with impressive sustain and intricate tonal depth suitable for any music style. These pickups combine the power of an overwound coil with the precision and detailed high frequencies of a classic pickup.
For the neck position model, the winding is RWRP (reverse wound/reverse polarity) to eliminate hum when used in conjunction with the bridge pickup. Designed as direct replacements for any American Standard Jazz Bass, Mexican Standard Jazz Basses equipped with two neck-sized pickups can also benefit from these.
Crafted in Santa Barbara, CA, the Quarter Pound for Jazz Bass pickups feature Alnico 5 rod magnets, Forbon flatwork, and are wax potted to ensure noise-free performance.
