The Bax Bangeetar pedal maintains articulate and tight sounds without wooliness, simulating amp distortion without typical diode clipping. It offers natural-sounding breakup and punch without stifling compression. Inspired by 1960s mixing consoles, offers a unique EQ with emphasis on midrange control. Its parametric Mid controls allow precise adjustment of frequency center, bandwidth, and boost/cut options, providing guitar players with detailed tone shaping capabilities.
It offers a superior alternative to “true bypass” with a linear buffer circuit that enhances tone without degradation. Positioned at the beginning of the signal chain, it ensures clarity and high-end retention even when the pedal is off.
The Bax Bangeetar pedal features a charge pump that doubles the input voltage, providing a wider dynamic range and more output compared to standard 9V pedals. It can operate on a 9V battery or an external AC-DC adapter.
The second output of the Bax Bangeetar preamp emulates the sound of an Orange 40th Anniversary PPC412 4×12 cabinet with Celestion G12H 30 speakers. The CabSim output can be connected to a recording console for studio tones or to a powered monitor/PA for live performances. Both regular and CabSim outputs can be used together or separately.
