The MXR Bass Distortion dishes out big gnarly tones with all the low end your bottom-dwelling heart desires. Working closely with indie pedal phenom, bass dirt guru, and Fuzzrocious Pedals founder Ryan Ratajski, we took a famously nasty sounding distortion circuit and re-tooled it for the modern working bass player.
The MXR® Bass Distortion pedal allows musicians to control the clean and dirty mix without needing two amps. It features separate Dry and Wet level controls, a Tone control to adjust the distortion’s high end, and a Distortion control for intensity. Users can choose between two sound options: the SIL setting for an aggressive tone with compression, and the LED setting for a more open sound with increased gain.
