Limited Edition 2025 Model Adorned in Spring Attire
Introducing the beautifully crafted limited edition 2025 Sakura guitar from the STD series, featuring a stunning spring-inspired design. Celebrating its 10th anniversary last year, the Sakura guitar continues to evolve, enhancing its beauty while upholding our commitment to using authentic Japanese cherry wood. This dedication captures the allure of cherry trees, both in sound and visual appeal.
The guitar features a natural color base with a pale pink pearl coating, resembling cherry blossom petals. Its hue shifts based on the viewing angle, offering a unique appearance from different perspectives.
The swallows, a well-known symbol of spring migration in Japan, were selected as the design motif due to their connection with Headway. The late master builder Yasuo Momose eagerly anticipated their arrival at his workshop each spring. The design pays tribute to Mr. Momose’s memory and the rich Japanese landscape, weaving a narrative that resonates throughout the guitar.
The fretboard is elegantly adorned with inlays shaped like cherry blossom petals. This design was thoughtfully crafted with playability in mind, ensuring that the guitar remains comfortable for those transitioning from guitars with traditional position markers.
The pickguard, shaped like a cherry blossom, is crafted from purple heart wood, representing the essence of the cherry blossom guitar. This detail serves as a testament to Headway’s Sakura guitars, which have remained true to their original design since the very first model was created.

The Mi-Si Acoustic Trio System features an innovative, battery-free active preamp that is specifically tailored to enhance the L.R. Baggs under-saddle Element acoustic guitar pickups. While we previously incorporated this dependable pickup system in some of our Headway models, we have now transitioned to the improved -Air Trio- system. This upgraded version includes an active, battery-free MEMS microphone in conjunction with the L.R. Baggs Element under-saddle pickup, providing an enriched output by leveraging both the MEMS microphone and the Piezo pickup.
