Description
ETA: July/August 2024
A new CD cut mechanism, an evolution of the queen cut, features a bush-type joint system and a redesigned body structure to reduce stress near the high fret area. This design change aims to create a smoother shape with reduced weight.
The pickup, H-3 by ESP Custom Lab, is a high-gain humbucker with a matte bobbin, black logo, and black pole piece, offering a rich low-mid sound. Mounting it directly onto the body results in a tighter sound.
The fixed bridge from ESP Custom Lab prevents saddle wobbling and ensures efficient string vibration transmission to the body.
In the EM-II CTM model, natural binding technique is used, revealing the wood along the edges, giving the appearance of unwrapped binding.
The body is intentionally left without a base coat, maintaining the wood texture with a thin paint layer. A unique texture is achieved by applying lacquer as the top coat.
