Description
The master volume functions as a switch pot, enabling you to toggle between active and passive modes by pulling up the knob.
- In active mode, the EQ circuit in the ESP HALIBUT is configured for E-AMAZE. The outermost two-axis knob adjusts treble and bass levels. Trim the mid and gain internally. The tone feature allows for detailed adjustments.
- Passive mode removes the 2-axis knob. Choose between two capacitor types, 0.022μF and 0.047μF, for a milder tone effect when pulling up the knob.
- Features a dedicated E-AMAZE pickup by ESP Custom Lab, with pole piece height and chamfered tops for optimal string vibration capture. Noise reduction is enhanced with a split coil structure.
- Lightweight HIPSHOT tuner prevents headstock tilting.
- The 5-string model has a 17mm thick head for a rich Low-B sound, with a peg nut for tension control.
- Strings are initially set from the bridge rear, but can be adjusted to the body rear for a tighter sound profile.
