Every now and then, the master luthiers at the ESP Custom Shop in Tokyo, Japan craft an instrument that highlights their exceptional artistic skills. In 2016, they introduced Shinobi, a guitar embodying the essence of a sword-wielding ninja warrior through intricate craftsmanship. Witness the detailed process of designing and creating this unique musical piece in the accompanying video. The Shinobi features a classic “V” style electric guitar design adorned with jewels, yet it conceals a special surprise – a removable sword housed in a sheath within the guitar’s body. Adorned with chains and gemstones, the Shinobi, also known as the Ninja, is a masterpiece.
