Slash has relied on the Cry Baby for his iconic, blues-influenced rock solos. Collaborating with him, Dunlop designed the Slash Cry Baby Classic, which is custom-voiced for a raw sound that has influenced many guitarists. It features a lower frequency, custom-wound resonance inductor for a wide dynamic range and sweep. Two side-mounted blue LEDs indicate ON/OFF status, visible from any angle. The pedal includes high-quality components, such as a true hardwire bypass switch and a durable pot, all housed in a heavy-duty die-cast casing with custom Slash artwork and a distressed paint job.
