Description
The Experimental Series showcases the M-II, one of ESP’s early models, which includes the M-II NT Buckeye Burl and the 7-string M-II-7 NT Buckeye Burl, with each limited to a production of 15 units.
The body, featuring a striking appearance, is primarily crafted from swamp ash with a unique grained Buckeye Burl top laminate. Unlike the traditional M-II, this model showcases an elbow cut that seamlessly extends from the beveled cut, combining aesthetics and functionality.
The neck is a combination of hard maple, paduk, and walnut laminates for increased durability. The Makassar ebony fingerboard complements the neck materials, enhancing strength and density for a more defined sound. The neck is set into the body and has a cut-out heel for improved playability in higher positions.
Equipped with Bare Knuckle’s Aftermath pickup known for its clear sound and prominent midrange. The bridge features the high-performance ESP Custom Lab Ultimate Series FB20 Brass -Direction- fixed bridge, enhancing sustain and clarity with a mass base plate.
The back of the headstock proudly displays the logo mark, symbolizing its inclusion in the Experimental Series.
